Carinbundi Kids Family Day Care believe each child is an individual and educators will value and develop each child’s interest, strength’s, skills and abilities to extend children’s knowledge and understanding. Family Day Care provides opportunities for children to explore, discover, imagine and grow.

Educators provide an environment which is safe, caring, stimulating, understanding and where all children are treated equally without discrimination towards race, culture, religion or gender. Fairness is not based on all children receiving the same resources, but giving them the resources they individually require to enhance their individual abilities and knowledge.

Carinbundi Kids Family Day Care supports our Educators to ensure that they provide the best possible care to each child. Focusing on the health, safety and wellbeing of each individual child whilst at the same time respecting their individual needs and privacy. 

As we value “our” children, equally we value our families. Having input from families is integral in the joint relationship between educators, children and families. Carinbundi Kids Family Day Care encourages families to share their valuable knowledge. We support and encourage family involvement and venture to keep our families informed and updated of planning, programming and other information they would find beneficial. We welcome parental/carer input and encourage contact direct between our office and parents/carers.

We believe with the right environment, encouragement and guidance children will have the feeling of belonging. Belonging is central to being and becoming, in that it shapes who children are and who they can become to form the best version of themselves.

In relation to Families;

• Carinbundi Kids Family Day Care acknowledge that families know their children best and offer valuable insight into their children’s learning needs.

• Families and Educators should form a partnership in caring for children, and in fostering the best environment that promotes their learning and wellbeing.

• Educators provide meaningful programs which incorporate elements of play with real-life experiences.
• Educators provides a flexible program and daily routine that is guided by children’s interests and abilities.
• Educators provides a home environment and helps guide the children to gain self-help skills and instil confidence for their future.

In relation to the Scheme;

• Carinbundi Kids Family Day Care recognise freedom of choice in experiences, balanced with age-appropriate programming.
• Children, parents and staff of Carinbundi Kids Family Day Care, are treated with respect and their views in relation to the proper operation of our scheme are considered and valued.
